Nature Walk: Deconstructing the Wilderness in Eco-literature

The Department of Language, Culture & Society, Faculty of Science and Humanities, organized “Nature Walk: Deconstructing the Wilderness in Eco-Literature” on March 9, 2026, at Tholkappia Poonga for BA English students. The experiential learning initiative enabled students to connect ecocritical literary concepts with real-world ecological environments, fostering environmental awareness, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation of Eco-Literature and sustainability.

The Department of Language, Culture and Society (LCS), SRM IST Ramapuram, organized a One Week International Faculty Development Programme on “Research Tools and Techniques for Academic Excellence” from March 2–7, 2026. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of the Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, in association with the R. Shivakumar Research and Innovation Foundation, is organizing Startup Payanam 2026 on 21 May 2026 at 8:30 AM. Startup Mudhalpadi 2026 – A Two-Day Idea Level Hackathon

Startup Mudhalpadi 2026 is a two-day idea-level hackathon organized by the R. Shivakumar Research and Innovation Foundation (Section 8 Startup Incubator of SRM Ramapuram Campus) in association with the Faculty of Science and Humanities. The event provides a platform for students to present innovative startup ideas, receive expert mentorship, and explore incubation opportunities. Participants will also benefit from IP support, cloud resources, and networking with industry experts, while competing for a total prize pool of ₹25,000.
