Dr. Vilasini K. A. is an Assistant Professor of English with over eight years of teaching experience in higher education. She completed her Ph.D. in English from VIT, Vellore, specializing in English Literature and literary studies. She was honored with the Best Research Paper Award at a National Conference in recognition of her scholarly contribution.

Her academic interests include English Literature, Literary Theory, Cultural Studies, Memory Studies, Indigenous Studies, and Life Writing. She is passionate about fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and an appreciation of literature among students through innovative teaching practices.

Dr. Vilasini actively participates in national and international conferences, faculty development programmes, and academic workshops to stay abreast of emerging trends in literary research and pedagogy. She has presented and published research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings, contributing to the advancement of literary scholarship. As an educator, she is committed to creating an engaging learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. She also mentors students in academic, research, and co-curricular activities, guiding them towards both academic excellence and holistic personal development.
