Bio

Dr. Vaishnavi S is an Assistant Professor in the Department of LCS at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai. She earned her Ph.D. in English Language Teaching from VIT Chennai, along with an M.A. in English Literature and an M.Phil. in English Language Teaching from Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching. Her teaching and research are driven by the evolving intersection of language education and educational technology, with particular emphasis on immersive learning, virtual reality, ICT-enabled pedagogy, artificial intelligence, and digital literacy. She has published research in reputed Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals, presented papers at national and international conferences, and actively participates in workshops, seminars, and faculty development programmes. Her work focuses on designing learner-centered, technology-enhanced language learning experiences that foster communication skills, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement in higher education.
