Mr. Thirumaran T is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Language, Culture and Society at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. He is actively engaged in teaching, research, and the promotion of Tamil language and literary traditions. His academic interests include Sangam literature, Kambaramayanam, Tamil grammar, and Epics. He has delivered invited lectures at literary forums, cultural organizations, and higher educational institutions, reflecting his commitment to scholarship and academic outreach.

His teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and rooted in both classical scholarship and contemporary pedagogical practices. He strives to make Tamil literature relevant by connecting classical texts with contemporary perspectives, encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and analytical learning. He believes in creating an inclusive and intellectually stimulating classroom that inspires students to appreciate the richness of Tamil language, literature, and culture while fostering academic excellence, curiosity, and lifelong learning.
