Dr. Kavitha K, a dedicated academic professional and researcher with over twenty one years of experience in higher education. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of English at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai. I have completed my M.Phil. from Anna University and earned my Ph.D. in English Language Teaching from the University of Madras. I am also a TESOL/TEFL-certified trainer with expertise in contemporary language teaching methods. My primary interest lies in incorporating technology to enrich and improve language learning outcomes

Bio

I am Dr. Kavitha K, an academician with over 21 years of experience in higher education, currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of English at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. I hold a Ph.D. in English Language Teaching from the University of Madras and an M.Phil. from Anna University. My areas of specialization include English Language Teaching and innovative pedagogy, and I am also a certified TESOL/TEFL trainer. My research interests span ESL pedagogy, trauma studies, and feminist literature. I have published my work in reputed journals and actively participate in academic collaborations, workshops, and faculty development programs. I am deeply committed to learner-centered teaching and integrating modern approaches to enhance language learning.
