The Department of LCS-Hindi organized an inter-departmental  Oratorical competition on 5/August/2026. The program aimed to strengthen student’s public speaking, critical thinking and communication skills while encouraging them to reflect on the signification of human values, quality education, sustainable growth through innovation and technological developments for better future.

This was a meaningful academic initiative that successfully combined language learning with global awareness. Participants delivered insightful speeches enthusiastically. Judge of the event was Dr.Kuljeet Kour, Assistant Professor of English, in the department of Language, Culture & Society, and SRM IST

(E&T) Ramapuram.

Hindi Oratorical Competition was  designed to enhance students' communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills while promoting awareness of national and global development priorities. The competition aligns with India's vision of inclusive and sustainable development and contributes to the following Sustainable Development Goals.

The event was informative, engaging, and insightful. Dr.Kuljeet Kour motivated the students

 with her real-life examples and depth of knowledge.

  Many participants felt inspired to explore Hindi more deeply in academics and daily communication.

 The event successfully created an atmosphere of linguistic pride and cultural enthusiasm.

 Organizing quality, coordination, and presentation were well-received.
