Fashion Photography

The Workshop on Fashion Photography provided Fashion Designing students with practical exposure to professional fashion photography techniques, including lighting, composition, camera handling, model posing, and visual storytelling. Through hands-on training and creative exercises, participants enhanced their technical skills and gained valuable insights into effectively presenting fashion designs through compelling visual imagery.

Professional Development Program

The Professional Development Program provided Fashion Designing students with comprehensive industry exposure through expert-led sessions on leather product development, digital marketing, fashion entrepreneurship, CLO3D technology, and career readiness. The programme enhanced participants’ technical, creative, and professional skills while equipping them with industry-relevant knowledge, digital competencies, and career planning strategies essential for success in the modern fashion industry.

Industrial Visit

The poster announces an industrial visit organized by the Department of Fashion Designing under the Faculty of Science and Humanities at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus. The visit is scheduled for 8 October 2025 and will take the II B.Sc. Fashion Designing students to the Weavers Service Center located in Besant Nagar. The purpose of the visit is to provide students with practical exposure to the textile and weaving industry, helping them understand traditional weaving techniques, fabric production processes, and the role of weaving centers in preserving India's rich textile heritage. Memorandum of understanding activity with AMHSSC tirupur

The **Department of Fashion Designing** organized a **30-hour Add-On Course** in collaboration with **AMHSSC, Tiruppur**, and **SRM Axis Intellects** from **10–14 March 2025** as part of its MoU and curriculum enrichment activities.
