Bio

Dr. Mahalakshmi is an accomplished academic and fashion professional specializing in Costume Design and Fashion. I hold a Ph.D. in Costume Design and Fashion and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at SRM FSH. With a strong passion for fashion education, research, and creative innovation, I dedicated to nurturing future designers and industry professionals.

Dr. Mahalakshmi actively engages in scholarly research and contributes to the advancement of fashion studies through publications, presentations, and academic collaborations. I committed to integrating contemporary industry practices with classroom learning, enabling students to develop both technical proficiency and creative thinking.

Through my teaching, research, and mentorship, I continues to inspire aspiring designers while promoting excellence in fashion education. My work reflects a commitment to creativity, innovation, sustainability, and lifelong learning in the evolving field of fashion and costume design.
