SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:

The International Webinar on “Impactful and Artistic Communication through Invincible Fashion” was organized by the Department of Fashion Designing, Faculty of Scienceand Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram on 12th March 2026.

The primary objective of the webinar was to explore how fashion can serve as a powerful medium of communication and self-expression. The session focused on how designers canconveystrong artistic, cultural, and social messages through innovative fashion concepts and creative visual storytelling.

Dr. Kalai Mathee delivered an insightful talk on the evolving relationship between fashion, creativity, and communication. She emphasized how fashion is not only about aesthetics but alsoabout expressing identity, culture, and social awareness. The session also highlighted the importanceof creativity, sustainability, and innovation in the fashion industry.

The webinar was highly interactive and informative, with active participation fromI YearB.Sc and I M.Sc Fashion Designing students. Participants gained valuable insights into howfashion can influence perception, communicate ideas, and create meaningful impact in society.
