Summary of the Event:

The occasion was graced by the esteemed chief guest, R. Sundarrajan, renowned actor and director, who inspired the audience with his valuable insights and experiences from the film industry. His presence added immense value to the event, motivating students to pursue their artistic aspirations with passion and dedication.

Adding to the excitement, the event also featured a special short film promotion screening of “Reelationship,” captivating the audience with its engaging narrative and cinematic brilliance.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants enriched with knowledge, creativity, and newfound inspiration. The Department of Fashion Designing at SRMIST,Ramapuram continues to foster such platforms, encouraging students to explore their talents and connect with industry professionals. The event would certainly help students to bring novelty to their works. VP Admin SRMIST,FLABS Dr.J.Dhilipan, has delivered the felicitation address. The event was organized by Swetha Menon NP, Head of the Department and Oviya Yuvashree U, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion designing. The event was a resounding success.

OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM: (Based on SDG and Feedback) SDG 4: Quality Education — Workshops and training sessions focused on critical life skills, such as leadership, financial literacy, and self-defense. Opportunities for women to develop vocational skills that enhance employability.

SDG 9: Industrialisation, innovation and infrastructure — Aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.
