A passionate and visionary academic professional with over 26 years of multifaceted experience in fashion design and technology education, research, and innovation. Renowned for integrating creativity with pedagogy, I bring a learner-centric approach that nurtures student potential, fosters skill development, and bridges academic theory with industry practice. With deep expertise in sustainable fashion, functional textiles, processing of natural fibres, medical textiles, and digital design tools, I have consistently led transformative initiatives—whether by building departments from the ground up, mentoring award-winning student ventures, or driving outcome-based learning. My career is defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence, innovation in teaching, and a firm belief in empowering the next generation of design thinkers.
