N.Gayathri, Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Designing at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, with over 10 years of teaching experience in fashion design, textiles, apparel, and sustainable materials.

My research interests include sustainable textiles, natural fibre extraction, textile science, fashion technology, apparel production, and surface ornamentation. I have published research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, presented papers at national and international conferences, and hold patent applications in the field of sustainable textile materials. My teaching philosophy emphasizes experiential learning by integrating classroom instruction with practical applications, industry collaborations, internships, workshops, and fashion events. I am committed to fostering creativity, innovation, research aptitude, and professional ethics, enabling students to develop the technical expertise and design thinking required to excel in the global fashion and textile industry.
