The Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Business Studies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized "Animal Cell Craft – 2026 (AC²–'26)," a three-day national-level hands-on workshop on Animal Cell Culture Technology from 19th to 21st August 2026 at the PG Research Laboratory (E-Block), in association with SRM Diagnostics. Open to UG/PG students, research scholars, faculty, and industry professionals, the workshop covered media preparation, mammalian cell culture maintenance, cell viability assays, MTT cytotoxicity testing, wound-healing assays, and fluorescence staining for apoptosis detection, equipping participants with practical laboratory skills and research applications in cell culture.
