Bio

Dr. G. Priya serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai.

She has five years of teaching experience in biotechnology and is dedicated to inspiring students through interactive, outcome-based, and research-oriented learning. Her academic interests include Molecular Biology, Genetics, Plant Biotechnology, and Industrial Biotechnology.

She believes that biotechnology education should integrate strong theoretical foundations with practical laboratory skills to prepare students for higher studies, research, and industry careers. She actively mentors undergraduate students in academic projects, encourages innovation and critical thinking, and promotes participation in scientific events and research activities. She remains committed to continuous professional development and excellence in teaching, research, and academic service.
