IKS in Health & Healing

The Department of Biotechnology, FSH, SRMIST, Ramapuram, Chennai successfully organized a national conference on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in Health and Healing on 30 Jan 2026, fostering meaningful dialogue on traditional medical wisdom and its modern relevance.

The program was enriched by the esteemed presence of Dr. R. Shailaja, Medical Officer (Siddha), AIIMS, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, and Dr. K. Parthasarathy, Scientist II, AMDRL, SCRI, CCRS, Chennai, whose expert insights illuminated the scientific and therapeutic dimensions of India’s traditional healthcare systems.
