Dr. Amala Arumugam is a skilled bioinformatics and biotechnology professional with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and extensive experience in clinical genomics, molecular biology, and academic teaching. She has worked across leading institutions and hospitals in India and abroad, with strong expertise in exome analysis, genome annotation, metagenomics, NGS workflows, variant interpretation, and research supervision. Her background also includes project leadership, student mentorship, scientific writing, and proficiency in programming tools such as Python, R, Perl, and Linux-based bioinformatics platforms.
