Dr. T. Ramesh is an academician and researcher with over 10 years of teaching experience, specializing in Environmental Biotechnology and Phytochemistry. He qualified the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) in 2016, demonstrating his strong academic foundation. Before joining SRM, he served as a Scientist at the G.S. Gill Research Institute, where he gained valuable research experience. Throughout his academic career, he has successfully guided more than 10 postgraduate research projects, fostering scientific inquiry among students. His research contributions include the publication of eight papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals. He has also received research project funding from the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST), reflecting the significance of his research work. In recognition of his commitment to quality education and student mentorship, he was honored as a Top-Performing Mentor by NPTEL, IIT Madras. His academic interests encompass environmental biotechnology, phytochemistry, and translational research, with a focus on developing innovative, sustainable, and socially relevant scientific solutions.
