Dr. Sivanesan Dhandayuthapani is a biochemist and cancer researcher with 27 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Tamil University and completed postdoctoral research in the United States, contributing extensively to cancer biology, molecular mechanisms, nutraceuticals, and anticancer therapeutics. His academic achievements include numerous research publications, patents, funded projects, and the successful supervision of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral researchers.
His teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual understanding, research-oriented learning, and ethical scientific practices. By integrating classroom teaching with practical research experience, he encourages students to develop critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and problem-solving skills. He is committed to mentoring future researchers and fostering innovation in life sciences and biomedical research.
