With extensive international teaching and research experience, he is committed to fostering innovation, interdisciplinary research, and industry-oriented biotechnology education.

Bio

Dr. M. Kamaraj has over 13 years of teaching, research, and academic administration experience across India, Ethiopia, and Malaysia. He currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, and is also an Adjunct International Researcher at INTI International University, Malaysia.
His research focuses on microbial biotechnology, nanotechnology, environmental remediation, biosurfactants, wastewater treatment, and sustainable biotechnology. He has published over 113 research papers, edited 7 international books, published 4 granted patents, and successfully executed multiple funded research projects. He actively mentors postgraduate research, promotes outcome-based learning, and encourages students to engage in interdisciplinary and translational research.
