Bio

Ms. Sussannah J completed her M.Sc. in Applied Psychology (Clinical Specialization) from Pondicherry University. She qualified the UGC-NET for Assistant Professor in her 1st attempt and has actively contributed to research in clinical and experimental psychology.

Her master's dissertation experimentally examined the cognitive and emotional consequences of criticism and self-criticism among young adults using mood induction and facial affect coding. She has also contributed in development of an ICSSR-funded research proposal.

As an educator, she believes psychology is best learned through curiosity, critical thinking, and practical application. Her teaching emphasizes interactive learning, real-world examples, and the integration of scientific evidence with clinical and research perspectives, encouraging students to develop both conceptual understanding and analytical skills.
