Mr. Makesh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Studies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus. He holds a B.Sc. in Visual Communication and an M.Sc. in Electronic Media from the University of Madras and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Visual Communication at SRM Institute of Science and Technology.

With nearly a decade of teaching experience and valuable industry exposure, he has established expertise in graphic design, advertising, multimedia communication, and emerging media technologies. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to creative communication, technological innovation, and media education.

His research interests include advertising, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and media education. These areas are reflected in his scholarly publications and research contributions, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in contemporary media and communication studies.

As an educator, Mr. Makesh adopts an experiential and learner-centric teaching approach that emphasizes creativity, practical application, and technology-enabled learning.
