Dr. T. Indumathi is a dedicated academician with more than 15 years of teaching experience in Computer Science across engineering and arts & science institutions. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Mother Teresa Women's University and has developed expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Biometrics, Image Processing, Programming Languages, and Web Technologies. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to curriculum delivery, mentoring, research supervision, and institutional development.

Her research primarily focuses on multimodal biometric authentication, gait recognition, image processing, and intelligent computing systems. She has published research papers in reputed international journals and conferences, authored academic books, and delivered invited seminars on emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). She continuously updates her knowledge through Faculty Development Programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Python, and related domains.

As an educator, Dr. Indumathi believes in outcome-based and student-centric teaching by integrating practical learning, collaborative activities, project-based assignments, and modern ICT tools. Her objective is to cultivate analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and research aptitude among students while preparing them for successful careers in the computing profession.
