Dr. T. Rani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram, Chennai. She has over 15 years of academic experience in teaching, research, mentoring, and curriculum development, with research interests spanning Artificial Intelligence, Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Corporate Governance, and Digital Business.

Bio
Dr. T. Rani is an academician, researcher, Ph.D. supervisor, mentor, and academic administrator in the Department of Commerce at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram, Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and has over 15 years of experience in higher education. She has made significant contributions to teaching, curriculum development, research, academic administration, and student mentoring. Her teaching expertise includes Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Cost and Management Accounting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Corporate Governance, Income Tax, GST, Office Automation, and Business Correspondence.
Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence adoption, Generative AI in Human Resource Management, AI-enabled consumer behaviour, FinTech, algorithmic transparency, deep learning for stock market forecasting, supply chain analytics, and strategic performance management. She has published Scopus-indexed research articles, conference papers, book chapters, and patents, with her work presented at national and international conferences.
Beyond research, Dr. Rani actively serves as a project guide, reviewer, resource person, and coordinator for faculty development programmes and student engagement initiatives. She is committed to experiential learning, interdisciplinary research, industry collaboration, and the ethical integration of Artificial Intelligence into commerce education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in a rapidly evolving global business environment.
