Dr. S.Umarani brings over 25 years of teaching and research experience in Computer Applications FSH ,SRM IST. After completing her Ph.D. in Computer Networks and Datamining, she has built a career bridging classroom teaching with hands-on research in IoT and Machine Learning.

She believes value education works best when students build the applications, not just study theory, and structures her courses around practical, project-based learning. Over her career, she has authored more than 40 research papers ,16 patents . She has received 2 Funded projects and 2 consultancy projects. She is mentored numerous student projects that have gone on to win national-level recognition.
