Dr. S. Sindhuja is an academician and researcher specializing in Mathematical Modelling, with a primary research focus on Inventory Management Models, optimization techniques, sustainable inventory systems, and decision-making under uncertainty. Her research integrates advanced mathematical approaches to solve complex problems in inventory control, supply chain management, and operations research.

Bio

Dr. S. Sindhuja, M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D. is an accomplished academician and researcher with expertise in Mathematical Modelling, Inventory Management, Operations Research, and Optimization Techniques. She is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and academic development, with over a decade of experience in higher education.

She obtained her Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai, followed by a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Vinayaga College of Education. She earned her M.Phil. in Mathematics and subsequently completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.

Dr. Sindhuja served as a faculty member at Vels Institute of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai, from 2013 to 2018, where she actively contributed to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, student mentoring, curriculum development, and research activities.

Her primary research interests include Mathematical Modelling, Inventory Control, Sustainable Inventory Systems, Supply Chain Management, Fuzzy Mathematical Modelling, and Optimization. She has authored more than 15 research papers published in Scopus-indexed international journals, reflecting her significant contributions to the field of applied mathematics and operations research.

In addition to her research publications, Dr. Sindhuja regularly participates in national and international conferences, faculty development programmes, workshops, and academic collaborations. She is dedicated to fostering innovative research and promoting analytical thinking among students while contributing to the advancement of mathematical sciences.
