Bio

Dr. S. Sakthi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. Holding M.Com., MBA (Finance), SET, and Ph.D. qualifications, Dr. Sakthi has over seven years of teaching experience in higher education. Throughout the academic career, courses have been taught in Human Resource Management, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Financial and Corporate Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Business Communication, Company Law, Auditing, Personal Finance, and related commerce disciplines. The teaching philosophy emphasizes student-centric learning, innovative pedagogy, and bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications.

Dr. Sakthi's research interests encompass Human Resource Management, Emotional Intelligence, Employee Engagement, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Marketing, Green Marketing, Artificial Intelligence in Management, and Organizational Behaviour. A highly active researcher, Dr. Sakthi has published numerous papers in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, and peer-reviewed journals, authored a book on banking technology, contributed book chapters, secured patents, and participated in an international collaborative research project. Research contributions have been recognized through several Best Paper, Best Poster, and Research Excellence awards.

Beyond teaching and research, Dr. Sakthi actively contributes to academic administration by organizing conferences, faculty development programmes, workshops, guest lectures, and outreach initiatives. As a resource person, mentor, and project guide, Dr. Sakthi is committed to nurturing future business professionals while promoting academic excellence, ethical values, interdisciplinary research, and industry-oriented education through continuous learning and professional development.
