Dr. S. Kannamudaiyar is an Assistant Professor of Commerce specializing in Finance, Research Methodology, and Data Analytics. His academic interests encompass Finance, Business Research Methodology, Commerce Education, Consumer Behaviour, Sustainability Studies, and Data-Driven Decision Making, with a focus on applying quantitative research techniques to address contemporary business and societal challenges.

Bio

Dr. S. Kannamudaiyar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (Finance) from Bharathiar University and possesses expertise in finance, business research methods, quantitative analysis, and sustainability studies.

His research focuses on Indigenous tribals, sustainability development, consumer behaviour, greenwashing, and financial inclusion. He is proficient in advanced data analysis tools such as SPSS, AMOS, Tableau, and MS Excel, enabling him to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights for academic and business decision-making.

Dr. Kannamudaiyar actively contributes to research, publications, academic events, and funded projects. He has received recognition for his research contributions, including the Best Paper Award for his work on greenwashing and consumer perception. He strongly believes in outcome-based and research-oriented learning and encourages students to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical research skills through project-based learning and data-driven approaches.
