Dr. P. Bhuvaneswari is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bharathiar University, where her research focused on the development of an efficient total variation-based multi-feature model for epilepsy detection using optimized machine learning classifiers. Her areas of expertise include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Signal Processing, EEG Signal Analysis, Image Processing, Data Mining, and Pattern Recognition. She has over 15 years of research experience and has published numerous research articles in SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals. Her research has received more than 790 Google Scholar citations, with one of her publications cited over 600 times. She has also authored and edited several books in the fields of computational sciences, machine learning, and intelligent technologies.

Prior to joining SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Dr. Bhuvaneswari served as the Research Head at Yazhli Global Multidisciplinary Research Organization and as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Technology and the Journal of Multidimensional Research & Review. She is committed to research-driven and student-centered teaching, encouraging innovation, critical thinking, and practical learning through projects and interdisciplinary research.
