Dr. Mangaiyarkarasi K is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Doctoral research focuses on adaptive SQL injection detection using hybrid semantic analysis, GWO-optimized Neural Turing Machine–Long Short-Term Memory (NTM–LSTM) learning, and Deep Reinforcement learning to develop intelligent and secure cyber defense systems. Research contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals and IEEE conference proceedings in the areas of cybersecurity, machine learning, and intelligent threat detection.

Teaching emphasizes a student-centered approach that combines strong theoretical foundations with practical implementation through real-world case studies, project-based learning, and emerging technologies. Academic interests include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and secure software engineering, with a commitment to advancing innovative research and high-quality engineering education.
