Dr. M. Sakthi Asvini is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in Bio-inspired Computing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS), with extensive teaching experience and a strong record of high-quality research publications in reputed journals and conferences.

Bio

Dr. M. Sakthi Asvini earned her Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. She subsequently completed her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, between 2013 and 2019.

Driven by a strong passion for research, she pursued postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), specializing in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Her research interests include Bio-inspired Computing, Geographic Information Systems, and related interdisciplinary domains.

Following her postdoctoral research, Dr. Sakthi Asvini began her academic career as an Assistant Professor at SRM IST Ramapuram. She is actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentoring student projects, guiding internships, and fostering research-oriented learning.
