Dr M. Divya MCA .,ME ., Ph.D is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Computer Applications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai with an experience of more than 11 years. She has been extensively involved in research works and published more than 15 papers in reputed Journals, in the areas of Deep Learning, computer vision, and IOT.

Bio

Dr M. Divya MCA ., ME ., Ph.D has over a decade of academic, research, and industry experience in the Department of Computer Applications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai with an experience of more than 11 years. Completed the Ph.D in SRM IST.

Her research interests include Computer vision Multiple Sclerosis detection, IoT applications, and intelligent systems, and her academic contributions include 15 publications in reputed journals and 10 conference presentations.

She believes meaningful computing education goes beyond theory and is most effective through experiential, project-based learning. Her teaching approach combines real-world applications, emerging technologies, and collaborative problem-solving to build students’ technical knowledge and analytical skills. Passionate about mentoring, she encourages students to engage in research, innovation, and industry-focused projects, preparing them to excel in higher education, research, and the rapidly evolving technology landscape with confidence, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose.
