Dr. K. Punitha with over 30 years of experience in higher education, she has dedicated her academic career to excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership, institutional development, and mentoring. She has served in key leadership positions, including Head of the Department, Chairman of Boards of Studies, Subject Expert, and Doctoral Committee Member, contributing significantly to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic governance. She has guided and mentored Ph.D. scholars, fostering a strong research culture and supporting the development of high-quality scholarly work. Her academic contributions include publications in UGC Care, Scopus, Web of Science, and ABDC-indexed journals, books, book chapters, and granted patents.

Her areas of expertise include Management, Commerce, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Change Management, and Business Research. She adopts a student-centered teaching philosophy that integrates academic rigor with practical learning through case studies, research projects, industry engagement, and collaborative discussions.
