Dr Kanimozhi T, Assistant Professor

Dr. T. Kanimozhi is an Assistant Professor with research expertise in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Her research focuses on developing intelligent, secure, and energy-efficient solutions for IoT-enabled wireless networks through advanced optimization algorithms, machine learning, and AI-driven techniques. She has published numerous research articles in reputed Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals and international conferences. Her research interests also encompass deep learning, threat detection and secure smart systems. She holds multiple published and granted patents in AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent computing, demonstrating her commitment to innovative and industry-relevant research. With over 15 years of academic experience, she actively contributes to advancing research and technology through high-impact publications.

Bio

Dr. T. Kanimozhi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cybersecurity at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, and obtained her BCA and MCA degrees in Computer Science and Applications from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has made significant contributions to Postgraduate and Undergraduate education, curriculum development, research, and student mentoring.

 

She has taught a broad spectrum of courses. Her research focuses on Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Deep Learning, and Intelligent Network Optimization, with particular emphasis on secure and energy-efficient communication protocols, AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, and intelligent computing. She has published numerous research articles in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, IEEE conferences, and Springer conference proceedings.

Dr. Kanimozhi is the inventor of several published and granted patents in the domains of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Smart Systems, and Wireless Sensor Networks, reflecting her commitment to innovation and translational research. She has also presented more than 25 research papers at national and international conferences.

Dr. Kanimozhi believes that effective education is achieved through the integration of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), experiential learning, research-driven teaching, project-based learning, and industry collaboration. She actively mentors students in research, innovation, technical competitions, internships, and professional skill development, inspiring them to become ethical, socially responsible, and globally competent professionals in the fields of cybersecurity and emerging digital technologies. computing practices.
