He has extensive expertise in teaching, research, academic administration, and student mentoring, with a strong focus on finance, banking, and management studies.

Bio

Dr. K. Gunasekaran is a dedicated academic professional with more than 23 years of teaching experience and 3 years of industry experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (Finance) from Bharathiar University, along with M.Phil., M.Com., and B.Com. degrees from Bharathidasan University. Throughout his career, he has served in reputed institutions including SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vel Tech University, St. Joseph College of Engineering, and Thirumalai Engineering College.

His academic expertise spans Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Human Resource Management, and Business Strategy. Dr.Gunasekaran has handled undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses and actively contributes to curriculum development, examination processes, and academic quality initiatives.

He is also an active researcher with significant contributions in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC Care indexed journals. His research interests include Financial Management, Banking, Corporate Governance, Digital Finance, AI-driven Analytics, and Sustainability. In addition, he has published books, book chapters, patents, and serves as a research supervisor, reviewer, editor, and resource person in academic forums.
