Dr. J. Jebamalar Tamilselvi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Applications from Karunya University, Coimbatore, in 2009. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and an MCA from Anna University. With over 17 years of academic experience, she has served in reputed institutions, including Karunya University and JAYA Engineering College, before joining SRM IST in 2021.

Her research interests include Data Science, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Extraction, and Data Cleansing. She has published more than 50 research articles in international journals and presented papers at over 25 national and international conferences. She has successfully guided six Ph.D. scholars at Bharathiar University and is currently supervising six part-time Ph.D. scholars at SRM IST. She is a life member of professional organizations such as IAENG, IACSIT, and SDIWC, and actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for international journals.

Dr. Jebamalar Tamilselvi is passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Her contributions to higher education and research have been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Shri P. K. Das Memorial Best Faculty Award, Education and Research Award, Young Achiever Award, Best Young Researcher Award, Super Women Award, Award for Outstanding Dedication to the Art of Teaching and the Science of Training, and the International Women Award – Research Excellence Award. She continues to contribute to academia through innovative teaching, interdisciplinary research, and the guidance of future researchers in Computer Science.
