Bio

Dr. G. Lalitha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science (AIML) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai. She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science through full-time research at the University of Madras under the guidance of Prof. Dr. S. Gopinathan. She has around four years of experience as Assistant Professor along with two years of industry experience, also served as Guest Lecture for eight years at the University of Madras and her current role at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She qualified the UGC-NET examination in June 2019 and has received the Best Faculty Award (2022) and the Best Teacher Award (2024) in recognition of her dedication to teaching. Her research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related areas of Computer Science.
