Dr. D. Janis Bibiyana is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce – PA, ISM & IAF, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. With over 23 years of academic experience, she specializes in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Marketing, with significant contributions to research, academic leadership, and doctoral supervision. She is dedicated to nurturing future-ready commerce professionals through academic excellence, impactful research, innovation, and industry-oriented learning.

Bio

Dr. D. Janis Bibiyana is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 23 years of experience in Commerce and Management education. She currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce – PA, ISM & IAF at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram.

She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce along with an MBA, M.Phil., M.Com., B.Com., and has qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET).

Her scholarly contributions include over 52 research publications in Scopus and peer-reviewed journals, authored books, invited lectures, conference presentations, curriculum development, and active research supervision.

Successfully supervised 4 Ph.D. scholars who have been awarded their doctoral degrees and currently guiding four doctoral researchers.

As a recognized academic expert she is serving as External Examiner, Question Paper Setter, Chief Examiner, and Doctoral Committee Member for leading universities and autonomous colleges.

She provides academic expertise in curriculum design, examination systems, research evaluation, doctoral assessment, and quality assurance, ensuring the maintenance of high academic standards.
