Dr. B. Jansi is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 9 years of teaching experience in Computer Science and Applications. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Ramapuram Campus, Chennai, where she joined in 2025. Throughout her academic career, she has demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, student mentoring, and curriculum development. Her areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Data Mining, Healthcare Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), Medical Informatics, and Software Engineering.

Dr. Jansi has published research in reputed international journals, IEEE conference proceedings, Springer book series, and edited book chapters. Her research focuses on developing intelligent and secure AI-driven solutions for healthcare, including fetal health classification, medical imaging, smart wearable healthcare systems, federated learning, and predictive analytics. She has also contributed to research in cloud computing, Generative AI, and deep learning optimization techniques. Her publications in the International Journal of Bioinformatics Research and Applications (IJBRA), IEEE ACCAI, and Springer Nature reflect her commitment to high-quality interdisciplinary research. Through innovative teaching practices and impactful research, Dr. Jansi continues to inspire students while advancing intelligent technologies that address real-world challenges in healthcare and computing.
