Bio

Dr. Angeline Christobel Y brings over 29 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience to the Department of Computer Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, Ramapuram. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science, she has built an accomplished career spanning higher education institutions in India and Bahrain, with expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Image Processing and emerging computing technologies.

Throughout her career, she has been committed to creating an engaging and industry-oriented learning environment that equips students with both strong theoretical foundations and practical problem-solving skills. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes experiential learning through real-world projects, research, innovation, and collaboration with industry. She has published over 30 research papers in reputed journals, authored books, secured patents, led funded faculty development programmes, and established international academic collaborations, reflecting her dedication to advancing education, research, and student success.
