Bio

Dr Alamelu Mangai is an Assistant professor in the Department of Commerce at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Science and Humanities, Rampuram. With over nine years of teaching experience and a Ph. D in Economics, she has taught a wide range of courses, including Managerial Economics, Digital Marketing, Business Economics, Company Law, and Retail management. 

Her teaching philosophy focuses on blending theoretical applications through case studies, project based learning, digital tools, and experimental activities that enhance students analytical and decision making skills. She actively mentors students and encourages innovation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

Dr. AlameluMangai’s research interests include digital transformation, knowledge management, MSME internationalization, marketing, and economics. She has presented and published research in national and international forums and actively participates in faculty development programmes, workshops, and academic collaborations. She is committed to creating an engaging learning environment that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and professional values required to excel in academia and industry.
