“Role of Artificial Intelligence in Students’ Growth”

The Department of Cyber Security, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, in association with the Idea Stack Club, conducted a Brand-Building Seminar on “Role of Artificial Intelligence in Students’ Growth” at TiaanoVidyashrm CBSE School, Tambaram, Mudichur, Chennai, on 02.09.2026.

A team of six student volunteers visited the school to guide and interact with school students on emerging technology, with particular focus on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. The programme was designed not only as an awareness session but also as a career-guidance and outreach activity, helping students understand how they can explore AI and Cybersecurity as possible future career fields.

The session was conducted in an interactive format. The student team explained the relevance of Artificial Intelligence, the importance of Cybersecurity and responsible technology use, and the kinds of skills students can gradually develop for technology-oriented careers. Students were encouraged to think about their interests, strengths and learning goals while considering possible career pathways.

To keep the programme engaging and student-friendly, informative sessions were interspersed with fun and interactive games and activities. The combination of learning, discussion and activities created an energetic environment and encouraged students to participate, respond to questions and interact with the student facilitators.

Overall, the programme was a meaningful educational outreach initiative that combined technology awareness, cybersecurity awareness, career guidance and student engagement. It also strengthened the interaction between the institution and the school community.
