Students and faculty members together celebrated the Pongal festival with farmers on the farming land.
Pongal symbolizes the start of new beginnings. The main purpose of celebrating Pongal with farmers is to express our gratitude to the sun, nature, and the farmers who contribute to the harvest. The programme was organised to make students realise the importance of farming, to protect our environment, and to create awareness about our culture and traditions, which helps us maintain a healthy environment.
Pongal is a way to thank the farm animals and the people who support agriculture, and to express gratitude to the forces of nature. It is a celebration of the harvest season and the beginning of the Tamil month of Thai.
We thank the management for the unwavering support.
