The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology – Ramapuram, successfully organized a Personality Enrichment Program on “Positive Psychology for Personal and Professional Excellence” on 11 July 2026 in hybrid mode. The session was delivered by Dr. E. Ruby Violet Rani, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, St. Joseph's College of Arts and Science, Cuddalore. The resource person highlighted the significance of positive psychology in achieving academic, personal, and professional success through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and practical activities. Students actively participated in exercises focused on developing emotional intelligence, self-awareness, stress management, resilience, communication skills, and a growth mindset. The program encouraged participants to recognize their strengths, build healthy interpersonal relationships, and approach challenges with confidence and optimism. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4, SDG 7, SDG 9, and SDG 11, the event successfully enhanced students' leadership abilities, ethical values, and overall personality development. Overall, the program was an inspiring and impactful initiative that strengthened students' confidence, emotional well-being, and readiness for future academic and professional success.
