The Faculty of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized an Outreach Programme titled “Warmth for Little Hearts this Diwali” on 16th October 2025. The initiative aimed to spread love, warmth, and happiness among the children of Premavasam Orphanage by donating new and gently used clothes during the festive season of Diwali. The event sought to instil values of empathy, kindness, and social responsibility among students while extending support to underprivileged children, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to nurturing socially conscious and compassionate business leaders. A cloth collection drive was held at the PG Block, where students and staff enthusiastically contributed clothes and essentials, which were later distributed personally to the children at the orphanage between 2.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. The visit was filled with joy, warmth, and heartfelt smiles as SRM students interacted with the children, creating lasting memories for everyone involved. The event was a heartwarming success with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, inspiring all to value the spirit of giving and community service. The Department of MBA expresses its sincere gratitude to Dr. S. Praveen Kumar (Dean) and Dr. R. Arulmozhi (Head of the Department) for their constant encouragement and guidance in making this outreach programme a memorable success. The “Warmth for Little Hearts this Diwali” initiative truly embodied the spirit of the season —  “This Diwali, let’s spread love that keeps tiny hearts warm and bright.”  It stood as a touching reminder that compassion and generosity are the true lights of Diwali.
