The SEBI-NISM Workshop comprised an insightful and comprehensive session delivered by the guest speaker:
- Mr. N. Sundar, CFA's certified ESG investing expert, Certified Social Auditor, and SEBI Empanelled Trainer, handled the session on "Financial Education Programme: Financial Awareness and Consumer Training" (01:30 PM – 03:30 PM). He focused on key aspects of financial awareness, practical insights into equity derivatives, mutual fund investments, and commodity trading, while also emphasizing smart financial decision-making and consumer rights.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who actively engaged in discussions, practical illustrations, and interactive question-and-answer sessions. The workshop enabled participants to develop a strong foundation in personal finance, understand contemporary trading and investment practices, and appreciate the importance of structured financial planning in today's economy.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, guest speaker, faculty members, and students for their valuable support and active participation. Overall, the SEBI-NISM Workshop on Financial Education was highly successful in enhancing students' financial literacy and equipping them with essential real-world financial skills required for academic excellence and future professional careers.
