Summary of The Event

Cybernathon’26 was an 8-hour cybersecurity hackathon conducted at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram campus. The event took place at the Hi-Tech Hall, TRP Auditorium, bringing together enthusiastic students interested in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and innovative problem-solving.

The hackathon aimed to encourage participants to develop creative and practical solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges. Students worked in teams to brainstorm ideas, build prototypes, and demonstrate their technical and analytical skills within the limited time frame. Hackathons like Cybernathon provide a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge, collaborate with peers, and gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity domains.

The event was honored by the presence of Matthew Samuel, from Pentagon Innovations, who served as the Chief Guest. In his address, he shared valuable insights about current cybersecurity threats, industry expectations, and career opportunities in the field of information security. His session inspired students to explore cybersecurity as a promising career path and emphasized the importance of ethical practices in the digital world.

Throughout the hackathon, participants collaborated intensively to design and develop innovative security solutions.
