Summary of the event

As part of CYBERNOVA 2026 - Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Department of Cyber Security organized the Inaugural Ceremony of CYBERNOVA 2026 on 22nd September 2026 at the AV Hall, Ground Floor, Block V, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with 123 students participating.

The event was organized to create awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to highlight the need for safe, responsible, and secure digital practices among students. It marked the beginning of a series of cybersecurity awareness activities planned under CYBERNOVA 2026.

Mr. Godwin Josh, Founder, RipeFlow LLC, served as the Resource Person and Chief Guest. He shared insights on the evolving cybersecurity landscape and emphasized cybersecurity awareness, responsible digital behaviour, and relevant technical skills. The event also encouraged students to take part in the cybersecurity awareness activities planned as part of CYBERNOVA 2026.
