Summary of the event

The CYBERNOVA 2026 Cyber Awareness Quiz was organized by the Department of Cyber Security, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Business Studies, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, in association with the Hype Club, as part of Cyber Awareness Month.

The quiz aimed to create awareness about cyber threats, phishing, scams, social engineering, password security, privacy, and safe online practices. It gave students an engaging platform to test and improve their cybersecurity knowledge through an individual quiz, while encouraging active participation and healthy competition.

The event promoted the importance of digital safety, responsible online behaviour, and cybersecurity awareness, reflecting the CYBERNOVA 2026 theme: "Think. Protect. Stay Secure."
