Brief About the Programme
The One Week Virtual International Faculty Development Program (IFDP) titled “Global Research Pathways: Preparing for Post-Doctoral Fellowships and Research Paper Publication” was organized by SRM Institute of Science and Technology to enhance the research and academic capabilities of faculty members, scholars, and academicians.
The program aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of global research trends, scholarly writing, ethical publication practices, and post-doctoral opportunities, while also promoting international academic collaboration and networking.
The IFDP included expert sessions delivered by distinguished academicians from India and Malaysia over seven days. The sessions covered key themes such as emerging research trends, research article writing and manuscript submission, academic networking and collaboration, publication ethics and predatory journals, and strategies for securing post-doctoral fellowships and funding opportunities.
A total of 468 participants from various academic institutions actively participated in the program, making it a highly engaging and impactful international academic event. The IFDP significantly contributed to improving research competencies, promoting ethical publishing practices, and motivating faculty members and scholars to pursue advanced research careers and global academic opportunities.
