Students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, SRM IST Ramapuram,

undertook an educational visit to The New Indian Express printing facility in Chennai on 23 July

2025. The visit offered firsthand exposure to the newspaper production process. Through

guided demonstrations, students gained insights into editorial coordination, strict deadlines, and

the significance of timely news dissemination.
